California Pending Home Sales Record 10th Straight Annual Increase
The California Association of Realtors reports that the 10th straight year-over-year annual increase occurred in the month of August. Agents reported a slow in closed sales when comparing July to August, and we in Big Bear saw no change, but the year-over-year comparison is a good sign overall. Take a look at the bar graph below to see how the different regions in California fared.

Big Bear Fall Activities
Bigbear.com has a great list of activities for homeowners and visitors alike. You can see them here.
Some of our team’s favorites are photographing fall colors, hiking, biking, kayaking, boating, fishing, golf, and Summit’s Scenic Sky Chair.
The Discovery Center and the Zoo also have some pretty interesting exhibits, hikes, and events planned.
As the weather cools, we could even see a couple of early snow storms. Visiting a Big Bear cabin is a great opportunity to practice your cocoa making skills and snuggle up by a fire.
We also still have a couple more weeks of farmer’s markets, as well as some beautiful weather. Come up and visit!
